4. IDEA :-                      One of the most prominent and brands of Indian telecom industry are Idea,                                              with a strong backup of the Birla group. Idea Cellular has become a market                                             leader in various circles and has also been in the lime-light through Idea                                                  Rocks India concert, Kaun Banega Crorepati and IPL team Delhi Daredevils.)
5. TATA :-   67 Million Subscribers
                     With the backing of parent Tata Company, Tata Tele Services has operations under the                         brand names Tata Docomo and Virgin Mobile India. The brand has ventured into fixed line,                      mobiles, broadband and digital TVs)

                      Headquartered in Chennai, Aircel has developed a strong market position specially in                             South India. Its sponsorships with IPL team Chennai Super Kings has also enhanced its                         brand visibility significantly

7.  UNINOR - 32 Million Subscribers
                         A joint venture between telecom giant Telenor and Unitech, Uninor has captured a                                 significant market share in the Indian telecom market since its inception in 2009. The                             company has had aggressive products which have commanded a significant position in                          the industry

8. MTS - 12 Million Subscribers
                MTS, which was a strong performer in the dongle segment, with "Blaze", had a turbulent                         time and had to shut down operations in many circles in early 2013. MTS was also awarded                 as the fast growing data operator and was conferred with the National Telecom Award.

9. MTNL -  5 Million Subscribers
                       With a significant presence in the biggest 2 Indian cities, Mumbai and Delhi, MTNL has a                          strong backing of the Govt. The company has over 45000 employees and was the first to                         roll out 3G in India
10. LOOP - 3 Million Subscribers
                        Loop Mobile, formerly known as BPL mobile, has been in the Indian telecom market                                since a long time. But with only a small base, and too only concentrated in Mumbai,                                makes Loop Mobile a lesser accepted brand compared to bigger players
